What exactly does Men's Vitality Center treat?
We provide comprehensive care for men's health concerns, not only erectile dysfunction. That includes sexual and erectile health, reduced libido and performance, hormonal health, pelvic health, metabolic and cardiovascular risk factors, weight management, and preventive care.
Will my consultation and results stay confidential?
Yes. Consultations, medical information, test results, and treatment details are handled only by relevant MVC team members involved in your care. WhatsApp is used for convenient communication with appropriate access controls.
Are the doctors qualified?
Yes. Care is led by principal clinicians with international training and board certification, including Dr. Maneil Joshi (Chief Medical Officer), a Canadian chiropractor and ED specialist, Dr. Craig Slapinski (Clinical Director), and Dr. Stephen Ojebisi (Resident Doctor). Patients may also access additional expertise from Canadian and U.S. Certified Clinicians where appropriate.
Will I need blood tests before treatment?
Bloodwork is ordered for most patients to identify hormonal, metabolic, and other factors. If you have recent results from another hospital or diagnostic centre, bring them, your doctor will decide if updated testing is needed.
What are EMSELLA, shockwave therapy, and ExoMind?
EMSELLA strengthens pelvic floor muscles with electromagnetic stimulation. Focused shockwave uses acoustic waves that may support erectile function and vascular factors. ExoMind uses non invasive brain stimulation when mind body factors contribute. Not every treatment suits every patient, your assessment guides the choice.
Are treatments painful or surgical?
EMSELLA, shockwave, and ExoMind are non surgical and designed without significant downtime. EMSELLA is performed while clothed. For shockwave involving the genital or pelvic region, only the necessary area is exposed, with privacy maintained throughout.
Can results be guaranteed?
No ethical medical treatment can guarantee a specific result. Individual responses vary. MVC focuses on careful selection, comprehensive assessment, and monitoring so plans can be adjusted if you are not responding as expected.
I live outside Lagos, can I still be seen?
Yes. Virtual consultations with our Canadian and U.S. Certified Clinicians may be available depending on your circumstances. For patients travelling to Lagos, we can help coordinate appointments to reduce unnecessary repeat travel where clinically appropriate.
